"Thank you for a wonderful musical presentation; your production is very powerful on all levels. It was great to see you and your team." - S. Friedrich
"Dr. Roz Roach, a renowned psychiatrist with a passion for the arts, decided to channel her expertise into a powerful musical production. The curtains rose on a stage set for a performance that was unlike any other—a fusion of art and advocacy, aimed at shedding light on global violence and racism.
At the heart of the production was Rosa, a survivor of unspeakable traumas. Rosa’s story was one of resilience and struggle, of fighting against the chains of control and power that had been imposed upon her because of her race, gender, status, and cultural background.
As the music began to play, the audience was drawn into Rosa’s world. The haunting melodies and poignant lyrics painted a vivid picture of her journey. Rosa’s life had been a series of battles, each one leaving scars that ran deep. Yet, her spirit remained unbroken. Dr. Roz, portrayed in the musical as a compassionate and dedicated therapist, became Rosa’s anchor. Their sessions, depicted through powerful duets and moving solos, showcased the profound bond between therapist and patient.
Dr. Roz guided Rosa through the physical abuse and darkness, helping her to confront her past and reclaim her identity. The musical was not just a story of Rosa’s healing but also a commentary on the broader societal issues that perpetuate violence and racism. Each act of the performance delved into different aspects of these issues, from the systemic power imbalances to the personal toll they take on individuals like Rosa.
As the final act approached, Rosa stood on stage, a symbol of hope and resilience. Her voice, once silenced by fear and oppression, now rang out clear and strong. The audience could feel the weight of her journey, the pain she had endured, and the strength she had found within herself. In the end, the musical was a triumphant testament to the human spirit’s capacity for healing and transformation.
Dr. Roz’s production left the audience in awe, their hearts heavy with the weight of the issues addressed, but also uplifted by the message of hope and renewal. As the lights dimmed and the curtains fell, the applause was thunderous. The Healing Symphony had achieved its purpose—not just as a piece of entertainment, but as a call to action, a reminder of the work that still needed to be done to address the deep-seated issues of violence and racism in our world." - Linda Rose.
- G enuinely important world-wide issue to be supported by all

The manner in which it was presented had all of us mesmerized throughout the storyline and enhanced by the catching and colourful song and dance numbers.Congratulations to the multi-talented Dr. Roz Roach, the star Rosa, and her incredible team. The ongoing interaction between the Warrior, Rosa and her abuser, was truly powerful in so many ways." - Helen Gaidatsis
"Sistas Calling is an anti-violence, anti-racism musical production that tells the story of a young immigrant woman (Rosa) who was abused by her life partner from the day she arrived in Canada , she later sought help and in so doing met Dr. Roz, founder and director of Dr. Roz’s Healing Place. Dr.Roz the Warrior in the production made it her mission to work with the young woman (Rosa) to heal her trauma and get on her feet, and she did. As I sat on the edge of my seat emotional at times, I wonder will there be a day when violence against women and girls is eradicated? Dr Roz think so, and I am hopeful. Very very powerful production and an eye opener." - V. Samuels
